Hotel Escuela ECOTUR is an official vocational training school in Valencia, specialising in cookery and tourism. Its programmes combine in-person and online training with work placements in hotels and restaurants across Spain.

The placements include accommodation, meals and a monthly student allowance of €300 to €400, and you can extend them if you wish. New destinations are added every year, among them 4- and 5-star hotels and restaurants with Michelin stars and Repsol Suns in Galicia, the Basque Country, the Canary Islands, Catalonia, Andalusia and the Balearic Islands.

Cookery and gastronomy (570 h): Spanish cuisine and the Mediterranean diet, food safety and hygiene, tapas and pintxos, rice dishes from the Levante, traditional spoon dishes, traditional baking and pastry, and cutting-edge culinary techniques.

Hospitality and front-of-house service (570 h): reception and reservations, tourism marketing and the structure of the tourism market, protocol and customer service, professional English for tourism, event set-up, mixology, and wine and food pairing.
