Privacy policy

Data controller

New Connections, of Hollymount House, Cleirgnhan Beg Ballinagleragh, County Leitrim, N41V8X0, Ireland, is the controller of the personal data collected through this website.

If you have any questions about this policy, you can write to us at contacto@newconnections.agency.

What data we collect

We collect only the data you give us of your own accord through our contact forms: your name, email address, phone number, country of residence and the content of the message you send us.

We do not collect special categories of personal data, nor data relating to minors without the consent of a parent or guardian.

Why we use it

We use your data to answer your enquiry, advise you on our study and work programmes in Ireland, and follow up on your application should you decide to go ahead with us.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Legal basis for processing

The legal basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form, together with the performance of the pre-contractual or contractual relationship arising from your request for our services.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as our relationship with you lasts and, after that, for the periods required by applicable law. Once it is no longer needed, we delete it securely.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell or pass on your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

We may share it with educational institutions or service providers where this is strictly necessary to arrange the programme you have asked about, and always with your knowledge.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability at any time by writing to us at contacto@newconnections.agency.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

Cookies

This website uses the technical cookies it needs to work: these are always on, because without them the site does not run.

We also use measurement cookies (Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager), which show us how the site is used, and advertising cookies (Google Ads), which let us measure how our campaigns perform. These two categories are only switched on if you accept them in the notice shown when you arrive; until you do, they stay off.

You can change your mind at any time: clear this site data in your browser and the notice will appear again so you can decide afresh. Your choice is stored in the browser for around twelve months. You can also set your browser to block or delete all cookies, bearing in mind that some features may then stop working.

If you have any questions about our use of cookies, or you want to exercise your rights over your data, write to us at contacto@newconnections.agency.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or new services. The version in force will always be published on this page.
